nVent HOFFMAN upgraded front frame covers (FFC) for MCS floor standing range

To offer improved flexibility and ease of use, nVent upgraded the nVent HOFFMAN front frame cover (FFC) for the modular single door mild steel floor standing enclosure range, MCS. The new design features patented Click-In Technology to make assembly faster and easier

The covers are relied on to cover the framework around the door opening for 19-inch profiles in Energy, IT Networking and DataCom applications. 

As part of the upgrade, nVent redesigned the cover’s vertical plates to have hinges, giving operators and maintenance personnel faster and easier access to components for cable routing and other processes. The cover also improves the aesthetics of the enclosure when a protection degree is not required.

In addition, nVent expanded the standard sizes available off the shelf for the cover heights (1800 mm up to 2200 mm) to accommodate the most common widths (600 mm and 800 mm).
