Expertise and equipment to design a fire system that meets your requirements
As well as selling a vast range of electrical products and components to the public and trade, here at AA Jones we are also able to offer a comprehensive consultancy service for those projects that are more complex and may need to adhere to certain regulations and guidelines.
If you’re planning a fire scheme we have the expertise and the equipment to design a system that meets the latest health and safety regulations as well as all legal requirements. Whether you need a commercial or domestic fire protection package, speak to our friendly, knowledgeable staff, who can advise on fire systems designed to L1, L2 and L3 standards and which also meet BS standard 5839.
We are able to provide a turnkey consultancy service for houses of multiple occupation (HMO), factories (using the latest COSHH information or other relevant documentation), hotels, guest houses, office buildings, shops and shopping centres.
All of our open protocol systems use conventional, addressable, two wire systems, linear heat tapes and infra red beam detection, which mean clients have total control over maintenance, freeing them from costly service contracts. Wire-free systems are also catered for, with free surveys to ensure site suitability.
Alongside fire scheme consultations, we can also provide advice on nurse call and personal attack systems for use in doctor’s surgeries, nursing homes and residential home facilities, alongside dementia room designs encompassing movement, pressure, urinesis sensors, and flow control flood protection systems. Any scheme provided by AA Jones will be fully designed and signed off, with any necessary training offered entirely free of charge.
Any disabled refuge systems we provide are designed to BS4839 Part 9 and BS9999, meaning total compliance with current DDA legislation. To compliment packages for medical facilities and sites catering for those with disabilities, we also offer disabled toilet alarm design and loop induction system design (fixed or portable), as well as emergency lighting designed to BS5266.
All consultations and resulting designs are provided free of charge and are drawn up and signed off by a fully accredited engineer.
