Occupancy detectors are able to recognise even the smallest movements, such as typing on the keyboard or moving the computer mouse. Unlike motion detectors, occupancy detectors permanently measure brightness. If the daylight is bright enough, the artificial light is dimmed or switched off, even if the detector continues to detect movement.
